REPET
Recycled PET, rPET or recycled polyester is a material obtained from the recycling of leftover materials. It mostly comes from the recycling of PET bottles and, to a lesser extent, from industrial polyester or clothing scraps.
vegan
It certifies that the product does not contain animal ingredients and that it is verified through various conformity assessments and tests in its production that no animals are exposed to any exploitation.
Recycled polyester
It is used both for the manufacture of packaging and for the creation of garments . After a recycling process - which does not involve the extraction of oil - the threads with which the recycled polyester will be made and the ecological garments will be woven are produced.
Organic cotton
Cultivated using sustainable methods with low impact on the environment. The non-use of insecticides, fertilizers or other chemicals in the spinning and production process results in a comfortable fabric, 100% plant-derived and hypoallergenic, highly sustainable in the supply chain, in a natural tone that claims traditional agriculture.
GLASSES
It is the standard by which fabrics and textiles are approved to be made from organic fibers. Only textiles made with 70% organic fibers can obtain this type of certification. The goal of GOTS is to define globally recognized requirements that ensure the organic status of textiles, from the collection of raw materials, including responsible manufacturing from an environmental, social and up to labeling to provide a credible guarantee to the end consumer; in other words, its focus is on generating trust and transparency throughout the supply chain. Textile processors and manufacturers are enabled to export their organic fabrics and garments with an accepted certification to all major markets.
OEKO-TEX Standard 100
The most widely used ecological label in the world to guarantee that products have been analyzed against more than 300 harmful substances. The certification is based on the scientifically based OEKO-TEX® catalog of criteria and neutral laboratory tests, taking into account numerous substances, both regulated and unregulated, that could be harmful to health, as well as preventive parameters.
Enzymatic wash
Enzyme washing is a textile finishing procedure used to soften a fabric. By applying enzymes partially, a softer touch is achieved and/or microfibre is reduced or eliminated. It is generally applied to cotton, denim, tencel or seaqual.
